Carl Gari & Abdullah Miniawy - Haj (live): The ambient atmosphere with the gloomy vocals and the well-tuned rhythm makes this song my first choice. The first time I discovered this project was in their live performance at the iconic festival Berlin Atonal. The whole album is a masterpiece which is still one of my favourites in my vinyl collection. An English version of the vocals is available online.

Diasiva - Vapor Construct: With its relentless and deconstructed breaks and the noisy industrial texture, this track of the duo Swarm Intelligence and Monolog, Diasiva, is the way to bring the heat to the dance floor.

Species of Fishes - Crash Recovery: Although first released in 1996 by Exotica, this track still sounds very modernistic. The well-groomed ambient sound and the electro frequencies together with the stereo modulation make this track one of my favourite ambient collections ever which has been pushing me to produce more ambient music.

Muslimgauze - Believers of the Blind Sheikh: Produced in 1996 and Released by Staalplaat in 2020, this gem is part of the ever-complex Muslimgauze oeuvre. Bryn Jones was influenced by conflicts and history in the Muslim world with an emphasis on the Israeli-Palestine conflict. Full of resistance, melancholy and obsession, his impressive work has been an immense inspiration for me. Yet, The Muslimgauze project ended tragically in 1999, after some rumours saying that he died suddenly of a ‘rare’ blood disease, leaving it a mystery.

Caterina Barbieri - Fantas: This track is bliss in pure chaos. It’s a synergy between the power of modular synthesis and a very talented composer. It‘s one of my most played tracks ever.
